I want to get my hands dirty and inky and painty and just sit/stand out in my studio and just play until something happens that looks fun and funky and just kewl because I got to play and learn and have my materials begin to meld as they do when you get to play with them for more than 10 or 20 minutes.
That was a very long running sentence but I think my point has been made. I am back to grabbing time just to quickly put ink to paper then have it not be what I wanted at all but no time to figure out what to do with it next. I have homemade colored mist all over my kitchen island, on a couple of scrap papers and a quick couple of pages in my journal. None of it looks anything like anything. They are just speckled color obviously sprayed on the page. LOL
Maybe THIS weekend I will get a chance huh?
I'll stop complaining now. I am actually in a mood about something entirely different. But I really don't want to go there this late. No sleep in 5 days can make a person cranky as an old lady when her shows aren't playing. Or when the president is on! Good Night
I hope you got the time to reate this weekend! I totally understand your frustration!!! I am hoping once my room is in order I will have more time to create because I wont spend so much time looking for everything! Thank you for sharing you pictures with me (storage ribbon) thats a wonderful idea! I am a little nervous about undoing all the spools I already rooled up! LOL! I am going to think about it - I love your space! So artsy!
